The ZAYER XIOS is a state-of-the-art bed milling machine that combines sophisticated processing with technical sophistication. The infinitely positionable milling head enables all angles to be processed in all axes - without reclamping. For even more flexibility, a 30° universal milling head is available as an option, which allows both machining at a negative angle and automated alignment to the workpiece position - thus significantly reducing set-up times.

The sixfold wrap-around arm ensures maximum stability and low-vibration milling performance - even with large cross-travel distances. The generous traverse paths of up to 5,000 mm lengthwise, 1,600 mm crosswise and 2,000 mm vertically, as well as the low-wear rack and pinion drive with virtually no backlash, ensure consistently precise movements.

With a spindle power of up to 40 kW and a torque of 1,020 Nm, the XIOS also impresses in terms of performance. The extensive standard equipment includes three chip conveyors - 2 longitudinal and 1 transverse, an overhead pendulum for flexible access and an internal coolant supply.
