WEILER V90

Turning diameter max. 940 mm, turning length max. 12000 mm for long workpieces, with automatic cycle control

The WEILER V90 is a 4-path precision turning machine with automatic cycle control and embodies the implementation of the WEILER cycle control, known from the E-series and proven a thousand times over, on a 4-path bed lathe. The V-series was developed to produce long workpieces more economically. For this purpose, the slide can travel over the fixed steady rests and the tailstock.

The machine takes its name from the four guides along which the slide, tailstock and steady rests are moved. Precise, wear-free roller guides on a heavy, torsion-resistant bed ensure maximum positioning accuracy of the bed slide. The tailstock and steady rests are precisely guided on screwed-on, hardened and precision-ground steel rails.
