Description

Generating grinding workpiece diameter max. 1000 mm, position above table min. 200 mm, grinding worm dimensions (D x L x W) 320 x 230 x 110 mm or 320 x 250 x 110 mm, tangential path 320 mm

The machine system for hard fine machining of gear manufacturing is characterised by its special performance and universality: Generating or profile grinding with dressable or electroplated CBN tools.

Gear grinding with dressable worms or discs is a successful technology that has been tried and tested for many years and has now achieved a remarkable level of performance with the use of modern sintered corundum tools.

This gear grinding machine covers both technologies without restriction. This opens up completely new possibilities for the user, especially in the generating grinding of large gears such as those used in the wind power industry.

The grinding head, based on a proven design principle, provides speeds of up to 12,000 rpm with its motorised spindle. Its high thermal stability is a prerequisite for use in profile grinding.

The active tool clamping on both sides guarantees high rigidity on the tool. Feed rates of up to 10 m/min and a cutting speed of 100 m/s are therefore possible.

Workpieces up to 600 mm in diameter can be automatically loaded and unloaded with a 2-station ring loader. Appropriate storage systems are available for unmanned operation of the machine tool.
