The profile grinding machine is designed for the highest demands on the final quality of the manufactured gear manufacturing. Both dressable tools and dressing-free CBN tools can be used. The grinding adapter can carry two interchangeable grinding spindles. This makes it possible to split the cut by sequentially using roughing and finishing tools in one workpiece clamping. Alternatively, you can machine several gear manufacturing operations in one clamping.

If the profile grinding machine is configured for the use of dressable tools, it has an integrated dressing device that generates any grinding wheel profile. The dressing and grinding programme is automatically generated on the basis of the gear data. The combination of measuring system and dressing device also enables automatic machining according to the so-called SMS strategy (grinding - measuring - grinding).
