Turning diameter max. 305 mm, bar diameter max. 32 mm, with front attachment and deep-hole drilling station, changeover between sliding headstock and fixed head automatic turning operation: The technical highlights of the TRAUB TNL32-11 CNC sliding/ fixed head automatic turning machine will give you measurable advantages for your production.
One example of this is the turrets designed as NC rotary axes. These not only switch extremely quickly, but can also be freely positioned without mechanical locking. This supports the use of multiple tools, which in turn shortens chip-to-chip times and increases the tool stock in the work area. The advantage of this is that you have to retool less and therefore achieve higher machine productivity.

Variants of the TNL32 (see photos)
TNL32-7B: Equipped with B-axis
One expansion stage is the TNL32-7B version, which extends the range of applications to include particularly demanding machining tasks. With the additional B-axis in the upper tool carrier, which can be numerically swivelled by 100°, even geometrically highly complex parts and complicated contour elements can be machined that require additional operations such as milling, drilling, cross-drilling or cross-threading at any angular position.
For operations parallel to the main spindle, angled tool holders were previously required for "normal" turret adjustment - now the turret is simply swivelled.
TNL32-9: Counter spindle for more flexibility
The TNL32-9 has an autonomous counter spindle and 9 NC axes. This concept offers you extensive machining options up to a bar capacity of 32 mm.
An identical counter spindle orientated towards the main spindle with a Z travel of 300 mm is mounted on a separate X-Z cross slide. The 140 mm X-axis stroke ensures simultaneous internal machining on the main and counter spindles.
TNL32-11: Front attachment for greater productivity
With two tool turrets, an additional front attachment and an autonomous counter spindle, simultaneous machining can be carried out with three independent subsystems.
