The TRAUB TNL12 fixed head automatic turning machine stands for maximum productivity and flexibility in a very compact design.

The compact TRAUB TNL12 sliding headstock / fixed headstock automatic turning machine with 13 mm spindle clearance has stood for maximum performance in its class for years. Where the predecessor model already set standards, the second generation of the TRAUB TNL12 now cements this claim.

The current TRAUB TNL12 has two identical work spindles (main and counter spindle) and two tool turrets, both with interpolating Y-axis. Furthermore, it can also be equipped with a front attachment and a rear attachment for complex rear end machining. In total, up to 38 tools are available to the user. The TRAUB TNL12 can also be flexibly converted from long turning to short turning operation and vice versa in no time at all.

The working area, which is unique in its class, ensures a very high power density for economical production thanks to the compact installation dimensions. In addition, the generous work area concept offers optimum process reliability combined with minimum set-up effort.

Thanks to its enormous performance and flexibility, the TRAUB TNL12 is suitable for users in precision mechanics, the automotive sector, electrical engineering and, above all, medical technology.

The current TRAUB TX8i-s V8 control system, which is prepared for direct integration of the TNL12 into the digital iXworld, ensures simple operation.
