Grinding head universal / tandem / diagonal, table / slide Z-axis 1670 mm, cross slide X-axis 365 mm, workpiece headstock mounting cone MK5 / MK6, tailstock mounting cone MK4 / MT5 / MT6
Precision through hydrostatics
The hydrostatic guideways and the consistent separation of the machine base from heat and vibration-generating components guarantee maximum precision and productivity. The high static and dynamic rigidity of the machine bed enables a three-point support. As a result, the cylindrical grinding machine does not place any special demands on the foundation.
The hydrostatic guides for the longitudinal table movement and the grinding carriage infeed are the basis for the extreme precision. The movements in the X and Z axes are practically friction-free at all speeds. Stick-slip does not exist. The smallest steps of 0.1μm can be travelled without any problems and give the machine "measuring machine accuracy".
Large working area, unique platform concept
The significantly extended machine table and the configurable grinding head positions enable unique grinding wheel positioning. Together with a larger stroke width, it allows a wide range of machining options and application-specific configurations.
