Horizontal and vertical honing machines

Powerful drive systems and a high-precision infeed device ensure the lowest unit costs in your production. The spindle is driven by a servo motor with max. 5.5 kW. A 3-stage gear unit with a Speed range of 3 to 380 rpm enables a large working range. The coolant supply is integrated into the spindle drive as standard and feeds the coolant directly to the honing head. The temperature, pressure and flow rate are constantly monitored using appropriate sensors. This solution greatly reduces heating of the component and stone wear.

Internal and external honing on one machine

This honing machine offers a completely new concept that enables both internal and external honing on one machine. In contrast to external grinding, honing allows you to achieve maximum shape accuracy, which ensures very good tribological properties.

In addition, you can machine a wider range of materials. This means that even thin-walled aluminium tubes can be machined. In terms of cost-effectiveness, the investment for this long-stroke honing machine is less than that of a comparable grinding machine.
