Up to 3 honing spindles, diameter 3 - 65 mm, workpiece outer diameter max. 200 mm, Speed (rpm) max. 3000
The machines in this series can be freely configured to the respective machining task. Whether in the diameter range from 3 to 65 mm, 1 to 3 spindles, optional measuring or brushing - everything can be customised to the workpiece to be machined and the required output.
The rotary table, which is adapted to the number of spindles, minimises non-productive times. Compared to other multi-spindle machines on the market, this one offers the advantage that each spindle has its own lift drive. This means that different honing processes such as conventional honing or precision honing can be carried out on each spindle as required.
The system can be equipped with an air-measuring station after each of the three possible honing spindles. This allows the machine control system to automatically detect any deviation from the required target tolerances and automatically correct the honing spindle with regard to expansion and stroke position. The automatic wear compensation of the cutting tool enables unmanned operation. Manual adjustment of the honing tools is a thing of the past with this system.
In terms of loading handling, a standardised pallet loading system is available, which enables unmanned production of up to one shift depending on the workpiece dimensions. As the loading cell is mounted on the side, the honing machine remains freely accessible from the front. A connection to other automation solutions is of course also possible.
