The KERN Micro HD is the solution for high-precision series and prototype production at the limits of what is possible. The system is based on the second generation of the KERN Micro, which was launched in 2019, and relies on proven, high-quality KERN technology. This guarantees reliability and stability over a long machine life.
In its integral axis system, the new KERN micro-gap hydrostatics combine with powerful linear motor drives to form a unique drive system that sets new standards in precision, stability, dynamics and freedom from wear. It works more precisely and more productively at the limits of what is possible than comparable 5-axis milling machines, as the compact system fulfils the highest requirements thanks to hydrostatics, direct drives and unique mechanical engineering. This results in maximum availability, maximum output and minimum waste, as well as low maintenance costs, versatile, flexible areas of application and therefore significant competitive advantages for the user.
