Eight main spindles, up to two swivelling synchronous spindles and up to a maximum of 18 tool carriers, which can be configured in XYZ: With the INDEX MS40-8, which can be configured as required, we offer a machine concept that fulfils all requirements and meets the highest demands.

The INDEX MS40-8 has been consistently developed for the application of state-of-the-art production technologies. The work area is generously dimensioned and set-up costs can be minimised, especially during retooling, thanks to the free accessibility. Even when fully loaded with tools, free chip fall is guaranteed.

• Only the tool holders determine the machining direction (inside or outside)
• Cross and end face machining with driven tools

• 2 x 4 spindles for simultaneous production of 2 workpieces

• Drum indexing: 3 x 90°= 270°(2 "machines")
• Multiple loading of the slides possible
