Six main spindles, up to two swivelling synchronous spindles and up to twelve tool carriers, which can be freely configured as X/Y/Z cross slides or Z drilling slides: With the INDEX MS24-6 multi-spindle automatic lathe, which can be configured to meet specific requirements, INDEX offers a machine concept that fulfils all requirements and the highest demands.
Set-up times are minimised thanks to the INDEX quick clamping system, the patented W gear manufacturing and the ergonomic open-front work area. Maximum dynamics and minimum non-productive times are further prerequisites for low unit costs.
Machine concept of the INDEX MS24-6
Machining options
The INDEX-typical arrangement of the tool carriers in the working area without a slide block allows the use of several tools on each spindle. The machining options are therefore only determined by the tool holder. This allows you to freely define all operations in almost all spindle positions. Another advantage: You have free chip fall.
Maximum productivity and cost-effectiveness of multi-spindle machines combined with the precision and flexibility of CNC single-spindle machines is the formula for success of the INDEX MS24-6 multi-spindle machine.
