CNC multi-spindle automatic lathe for high productivity
The INDEX MS16-6 combines the flexibility of the latest INDEX CNC multi-spindle technology with the renowned productivity of cam-controlled machines. With 5 extremely rigid CNC grooving slides, optional drilling slides instead of grooving slides and additional machining slides with X and Z axes, almost all geometries and machining tasks can be realised with the convenience of a state-of-the-art open-front INDEX CNC multi-spindle machine. The shortest changeover times, highest dynamics and lowest non-productive times define the lowest workpiece costs.

Our trademark: the spindle drum
The compact spindle drum enables maximum precision in every position thanks to the use of three-part Hirth gear manufacturing. The centrepiece is formed by 6 fluid-cooled motor spindles integrated in the spindle drum. Infinitely variable speed control, high torque, high thermal stability, small size and maintenance-free - these are the criteria by which you can recognise an INDEX CNC multispindle machine.
