Description
As productive as automatic turning: The INDEX G200 is equipped with two identical work spindles, three tool turrets, all of which have a Y-axis, and a milling spindle with a 360 degree B-axis. This turning/milling centre combines the productivity of an automatic turning machine with the ability to carry out demanding milling operations with high performance.
The working area of this turning/milling centre is unique in its class and, with its compact installation dimensions, ensures an enormous power density for your economical production of today and tomorrow.
In addition, the vertical work area concept with up to three tool carriers and a milling spindle enables optimum process reliability with minimum set-up costs thanks to the convenient tool supply of up to 43 stations in total (42x VDI25 and 1x HSK-A40).

Flexible modular system
With a high degree of rigidity, thermal and dynamic stability, very good vibration-damping properties and a working area that is unique in its class, the INDEX G200 enables the production of top-quality workpieces.
The powerful milling spindle with HSK-A40 tool holder, in conjunction with the hydrodynamically mounted Y/B axis, ensures demanding drilling or milling operations - without the use of driven tool holders - simply and cost-effectively.
Configure the G200 turning/milling centre as you need it for your workpiece requirements.
Up to three tool holders with Y-axis and a maximum of 42 tool stations (VDI25) can be used on the main spindle and counter spindle of the turning/milling centre. A tailstock or a turret steady rest with a clamping range of 10 - 66 mm are also possible when configuring the G200.
iXpanel control system - iX4.0 included
The cockpit for easy integration of the machine into your company organisation.
With iXpanel, the operator has all the relevant information for economical production available directly on the G200 turning/milling centre at all times. iXpanel integrates the latest control generation SIEMENS S840D sl and is already included as standard and can be individually expanded.
