Description

Turning length max. 400 mm, bar diameter max. 65 mm, optional robot cell

Despite their compact external dimensions, the INDEX C100 and C200 2- or 3-turret machines offer a generous working area for the complete machining of workpieces. The INDEX SingleSlide guide system ensures very high dynamics with optimum vibration damping. This has a very positive effect on workpiece quality and tool life, while at the same time reducing cycle times.

The machine concept

  • Clearly structured and ergonomically sophisticated work area concept
  • Spindle clearance C100: 42 mm / C200: 65 or 90 mm
  • 2 powerful, identical motor spindles
Maximum part variety thanks to 3 turrets and 42 tools
  • Full rear side machining
  • High acceleration (1g) and high rapid traverse rates of up to 60 m/min
  • Fast turret indexing
  • Simultaneous machining with 2 or 3 turrets
  • Machining with lower turret on main and counter spindle possible
  • Very good vibration damping thanks to INDEX SingleSlide
  • Control: Choice of Siemens 840D sl or Fanuc 31i-B

Two powerful spindles
The two powerful motorised spindles ensure particularly powerful machining. The main and counter spindles are identical and liquid-cooled. The rapid traverse of the counter spindle is 60 m/min (C100).

Three turrets with a maximum of 42 stations
The large tool stock with a maximum of 3 x 14 stations and the patented INDEX W gear manufacturing ensure short set-up times, even for small batch sizes. The exceptionally high dynamics and fast turret indexing reduce chip-to-chip times.

Two Y-axes for optimum division of labour
2 x Y-axis possible on the main spindle or 1 x each on the main and counter spindles. This means that even complex work sequences can be optimised and cycle times reduced.

Integrated handling system for parts removal
The integrated gantry removal device ensures fast and damage-free workpiece removal. In addition, the bar remnant can be removed separately from the main spindle.
