The machines in this series are designed for maximum precision and long-term accuracy. Close to the individual µ - and not just on the day of commissioning, but over many years of use. The horizontal machining center is not a standard machine trimmed for accuracy. Rather, it is based on a completely new concept. This is because the final µ is the result of many targeted individual measures such as careful design, the best materials, strict production processes and highly experienced employees.
The horizontal machining centre offers the tightest form and position tolerances (positioning, flatness, concentricity, angularity, run-out) for the most demanding applications. The basis for lasting accuracy is maximum stability. High guide webs, FEM-optimised structures cast with mineral casting material, a thermally inert system and active temperature control are just a few examples of the many measures taken. A decisive factor in the successful realisation of such precise machines is the manufacturer's very high level of vertical integration for all core components.
