The horizontal machining centre is a heavy-duty machine tool that guarantees robust, optimum and dynamic processes. For a wide range of applications in aerospace, mechanical engineering, tool and mould making, automotive or energy technology.
Axis and drive concept
This 4-axis universal machining centre is characterised by high productivity, reliable components and a unique load capacity. Thanks to extensive configuration options, the horizontal machining centre can be ideally adapted to the requirements of your production.
Depending on the configuration, the drive concept is based on a ball screw drive arranged in the centre of gravity or two symmetrically arranged ball screw drives in the Y-axis. The torque motor already installed in the B-axis in the standard version also enables fast positioning movements with maximum precision.
