The turning Center with Counter spindle and up to two turrets is designed for turning small parts (bar machining) and competes with sliding headstock lathes. Its precision and reliability make it ideal for machining complex parts. This machine tool is the preferred choice for turning mass-produced parts. With a significant reduction in cycle times, it is specially designed for the production of large series.
In this multi-turret turning machine, the 24-station turret with a large "curvic cupping" provides hydraulic locking, which gives it high stability and precision.
Tailstock (optional)
One of the options of this multi-turret machine is the optional tailstock, which is attached to the counter spindle.
2 turrets, 3 channels
The turning Center has two turrets, although the CNC has 3 channels that allow the simultaneous execution of 3 programs with the corresponding correction. The Counter spindle (axes X3 and Z3) can work in combination with both the upper and lower turret on channel 3 of the CNC. In this way, it is possible to place two tools in the two turrets and machine simultaneously with three tools.
