By combining technologies from turning centres and machining centres, the NTX 500 offers its customers significant advantages by efficiently integrating processes from high-mix small batch production to series production.
All-rounder for various industrial sectors
The NTX 500 is a versatile machine that enables the machining of complex-shaped workpieces in the aerospace, medical technology, automotive, tool and mould making and precision equipment industries with high efficiency and accuracy.
- 6-sided complete machining on main and counter spindle with 8,000 rpm
- 4-axis synchronised machining with lower 16-axis BMT 42 / 64 turret at 12,000 rpm
- 60 mm Y-axis for the lower turret
- Workpieces up to ø 350 mm and 580 mm Turning lenght
- Machining of flange parts with a diameter of 350 mm.

Turning Center and Machining Centre: Merging two cutting-edge technologies
The NTX 500 is equipped with the latest machining technologies and combines various machining processes in a compact turning/milling machine that enables both fine machining with high precision and high-speed milling. In addition, the NTX 500 offers 6-sided machining with the spindle on the right-hand side, allowing complete workpieces to be machined on just one machine. The "ERGOline X" user interface uses a touchscreen and keyboard to make complex operations easy to set up. With its maximum power, the NTX 500 is the perfect solution for customers looking to increase efficiency and reduce costs in their production processes.
5-axis simultaneous machining
- Equipped with "compactMASTER 40|250" the high-speed and compact turning-milling spindle from DMG MORI
- Capto C4 turning/milling spindle as standard equipment with max. 30,000 rpm and 42,000 rpm (as optional high-speed specification)
- B-axis with 240° rotation range and max. traverse X-axis 375 mm (-75 mm to +300 mm)
