The CTX 350 4A is based on an FEM-optimised, high-quality, compact and torsion-resistant cast bed for the best rigidity and vibration damping, designed for a machine concept with two turrets.
The design with four guideways enables collision-free movement of the top slide (X1-Z1 axis) and bottom slide (X2-Z2 axis) as well as the counter spindle. Metal covers in the work area with 45° inclination optimise chip fall and increase operational safety and machine service life.
High-quality recirculating ball screws and wide linear guides in the X1-Y1-Z1, X2-Z2 slides and the counter spindle support heavy-duty machining and guarantee machine dynamics that meet the highest production requirements.
