Speed max. 6000 (rpm), stroke drive: linear motor, stroke length max. 200 mm
This long-stroke honing machine can be designed with 1 or 2 honing spindles. Rotary indexing tables with 3 to 8 stations enable measuring operations and secondary processes. Two spindles enable a two-stage process. This variant is 60 cm wider than the single-spindle honing centre in the series.
Solution for small bore diameters
Small bore diameters often place different demands on the production technology than large ones - a typical problem is the unfavourable length/diameter ratio of the bore. The manufacturer has further developed this series in line with customer requirements and further improved proven assemblies. The result: quality, short delivery times and functionally mature components.
Depending on customer requirements and the range of products to be processed, the machine is equipped with the appropriate honing unit. The honing control enables controlled stroke speeds and switching accuracies.
The bore diameter and taper are determined by a pneumatic air measuring device and shown graphically on the display. Depending on customer requirements, in-process as well as pre- and post-measurement systems can be integrated.
A brushing process can be integrated to remove slight burrs on edges, recesses or cross bores. A centrifugal or blow-off station can also be integrated as an option to remove the coolant from the workpiece.
